our everyday: the middle of the night

Since being blessed with Grace just four short years ago, I have learned to appreciate every single moment that life sends my way. So when this sweet little girl wakes up at night and finds her way into my bed to wrap her little arms around my neck and snuggle close, I can't help but smile. All of the parenting books out there would likely tell me to walk her back to her bed, but clearly those books don't know how amazing this time is for all of us. The time will come when she no longer thinks it is cool to climb into our bed, when she prefers privacy and independence. And when that time comes, my heart will be happy remembering this little girl and her doll.
